The Bayou Salado 2008 Picture CD is now available through the Rocky Mountain Living History Society (RMLHS). Photos & movies* presented in "a-day-in-the-life" fashion. From serene sunrises to Drummers & Dancers, singing around the Camp and around the campfire. If'n it's not on this Picture CD, it didn't happen!! Having a computer (with most versions of Windows O/S) to play this CD is good to have but it may also play on most models of DVD Players* made since 2005. Now available on DVD!! RENDEZVOUS: Trapper's Days 2008 Rendezvous Ft. Lupton, Colorado. Dates: September 5 thru 7 (early setup Sep 4th). Events include: 'Hawk & Knife Throw, Highland Games, live Demonstrations (local school kids & Scouts may tour on Friday), Black Powder Shoot, Rendezvous Worship Service & more. DEMONSTRATION: Walk Back In Time Mexico, Missouri. Dates: September 26 thru 28. This Event features a "timeline" of American History that covers the 1770's Colonial & Native American Eras through 1940's WWII. Early setup on Thursday, 25 September is encouraged as Friday, 26 September is the local school Tour day. Several Events (too many to list here) are skedded each day. This past month, I've taken note that the Web Site http://www.rmrondynews.mysite.com/ is seeing (during July & August) an average of more than (15) visitors per day. This number has since increased to over an average of twenty (20) visits per day since October 2nd. I am humbled to see & know that the efforts on my part to serve the Rendezvous, Buckskinning & Re-Enactor communities has born this much fruit. This would not be possible without y'all taking the time & effort to visit the Web Site of which I much appreciate your time & efforts. I'm always looking for ways to improve the Site and I'm looking to y'all for comments & suggestions to keep the Site current, fresh and up-to-date. Please also keep in mind that y'all should visit the Site often in case there's any "breaking news" within the Rendezvous & Re-Enacting realm, as it's much easier & quicker to update the Web Site than it is to E-Mail 300+ people each time news breaks.
